There’s help. At Union Colony Schools (UCS), we ensure every family feels right at home from day one, no matter where they come from or what language they speak. We are a tuition-free charter program serving grades K-12 on two campuses in Greeley and Evans, Colorado, and welcome all families.
Our faculty understands the unique challenges faced by non-English-speaking students. Culture worries, difficulty absorbing information, anxiety about feeling like an “other”—we get it. That’s why we offer extensive support to ensure parents and students are comfortable when they enroll in our community. Our programs bridge communication gaps and provide a smooth transition for everyone.

We offer English-as-a-second-language classes taught by experienced, compassionate teachers. Our approach is nurturing, patient and supportive but also challenging to encourage students to excel beyond what they thought possible. We know they can thrive, and motivate them to do so!

From our annual carnival to our Spring concerts, each event is designed with language inclusivity in mind, ensuring non-English-speaking families feel welcomed and valued.
