Preparatory Academics

All students at Union Colony will demonstrate, articulate, and value the skills and knowledge to be prepared to excel in college or other post-secondary endeavors. Union Colony offers three different pathways for students.

UC Core Pathway

  • 46 Semester Classes

  • 4 years of Advisory

Concurrent Enrollment Pathway

  • 36-40 UC Semester Classes

  • 6-10 Aims Semester Classes

  • 4 years of Advisory

  • 46 Total Semester Classes + Advisory

Associate Degree Pathway

  • 31 UC Semester Classes*

  • 19 (approx.) Aims Semester Classes

  • 4 years of Advisory

  • 45-50 Total Semester Classes + Advisory

*up to 4 UC core semester classes (not to exceed one year in a single content area) and one semester of PE can be replaced by Aims classes if these courses are part of the student’s approved degree plan.
