The safety of each and every child who walks through the doors of Union Colony Elementary and Preparatory Schools is our top priority. From our staff to our campus and transportation to protocol, we’ve made sure our tuition-free schools are safe and ready to nurture the academic talents of the children of Greeley and Evans.

Secure Campuses

A great school day begins with a safe environment. Union Colony Schools are secured campuses, where doors remain locked throughout the day and visitors must be buzzed in. Our spacious outdoor playground at our Elementary campus is completely fenced. And our closed campus at the Preparatory school means higher class attendance rates.

We utilize the Schoolhouse Driveline app to ensure that the hand-off from school to home is safe and efficient and reduces parent wait time. We are also proud to offer safe, reliable, free transportation to and from school for all elementary and preparatory students.

Safe School Community

Our safe school community, where everyone knows your name, is built on mutual care and respect. We build character and unity with classroom lessons on anti-bullying, empathy and leadership. Our students know and enact our school values of Persistence, Achievement, Character and Kindness and consistently demonstrate that they are the Leaders of the P.A.C.K. on the playground, in the classroom and everywhere in between.

With our school counselors and caring staff, we attend to the social and emotional needs of all students. Our elementary school has been enjoying the extra support of two very special guests: Dottie and Stryker, therapy dogs! These dogs promote emotional safety and provide comfort to everyone they meet.

Before and After School Programming

Mornings and after-school hours are made easier for working parents thanks to our partnership with ABC’s before and after school programming. Kids can arrive at our elementary school campus by 6:15 in the morning and stay until 6:15 p.m. ABC offers high quality programming that includes social time, homework support, art and games.
